From Paperback Books to Package Receiving
Hagen’s of Blaine began in 1977, when Gloria and Glen Hagen opened a used bookstore. Over time, the family expanded the business to provide Canadian customers with a convenient U.S. location for receiving packages.
Steve and Kelle Hagen took over the business in 1992 and continued adapting its services to meet the needs of customers on both sides of the border. Today, Hagen’s provides package receiving, shipping, returns, warehousing, and order fulfillment while remaining a local, family-owned business.
Our Building
Hagen’s longtime home at 816 Peace Portal Drive has a fascinating history of its own. Built in 1907, the building originally operated as a movie theater before later becoming a bookstore and package-receiving location. Learn more about the history of the building.
